I am always immensely grateful that I have two daughters who keep inspiring me constantly. Whether they are their words of wisdom which help make me a better person, or something they are experiencing that sparks my creativity. In this case, it's my Victoria graduating (once again) with an unthinkable master degree in decorative arts.

For those who have known me long enough, Vic has dyslexia and reading and writing have been found to be very difficult for her. Yet, she managed to conquer her biggest fear and made an achievement. Her favourite flower is peony and I have therefore created a statement brooch with three mini peonies hand wired with tiny petals and Swarovski crystals. Why three? Well, they look nice, lol, but also has two other meanings. One, I will keep it secret, but the other, I gladly share with you all. It's a symbol of her past, present and future.

The today her, is a result of hard work of the yesterday her, which gives the future her the courage and experience she no doubt needs for the uncertain journey ahead.

Also, have I ever mentioned yellow was once her favourite colour during her early schooling days? So here you are, the brooch that represents love of a mother, her pride, and of course her happiness.

Younger daughter Elizabeth wore the matching bangle at the master graduation ceremony.

  • Swarovski crystals, glass, freshwater pearls and 14K gold plated parts. Kindly note that no two natural pearls will look alike.
  • Breakable item. Handle with lots of love and care.
  • Item comes in gift box/pouch packaging.
  • Our floral jewellery can be quite heavy for delicate clothings. Avoid pinning them on silk, lace, georgette, velvet, etc. They are best styled on chunky cardigans, blazers, denim jackets and coats. Sometimes they look wonderful on plain down jackets too! For hairpieces, it is best worn with a number of extra bobby pins to make sure they stay in places.
  • Handmade in our Hong Kong studio. Each piece will carry its own characteristics and may vary slightly from our product photos.
